The mountains around Bergen are well-known and popular outdoor areas with great variation in terrain and landscapes. This map covers a larger area than any previous map sheet and is designed to reflect the diversity of the region. The classic 7-Mountain Hike is clearly marked on the map. The route is approximately 35 km long with a total elevation gain of 2,400 metres. It is a fantastic and demanding hike that introduces you to Bergen and the central Byfjellene.

It is part of a modern map series where terrain information is based on airborne laser scanning, providing exceptional detail and an almost three-dimensional impression. The map includes all marked hiking routes, ski trails, bathing spots and launch points for kayaks and canoes throughout the entire map area and is designed for year-round use.

The map is printed on Tyvek, a synthetic fibre material that makes it completely waterproof and highly tear-resistant.
